QUESTIONS FOR ORAL ANSWER

426 Mr Malama (Mfuwe) - to ask the Minister of Education:

(a) how much money will the Government spend on the construction of Nabwalya Secondary School in Mfuwe Parliamentary Constituency; and

(b) whether the Secondary School will have boarding facilities.

427 Mr Milupi (Luena) - to ask the Minister of Education when high schools will be constructed at the following centres in Luena Parliamentary Constituency:

(a) Nangula;

(b) Nangili;

(c) Ndanda;

(d) Mombo;

(e) Ushaa; and

(f) Sitoya.

428 Mr Msichili (Kabushi) - to ask the Minister of Sport, Youth and Child Development whether the Government has any plans to upgrade Musa Kasonka Stadium to international standards and, if so, when the programme will commence.

429 Mr Kasongo (Bangweulu) - to ask the Minister of Lands:

(a) whether, in light of the mushrooming unplanned settlements, the Ministry, in collaboration with local authorities, is considering converting Occupancy Licenses into Certificates of Title issued by the Ministry; and

(b) what other measures the Ministry envisages to take in this regard.

430 Dr Chishya (Pambashe) - to ask the Minister of Tourism, Environment and
Natural Resources:

(a) how much revenue, in real terms, did Government collect from tourism activities in Lusenga National Park in Pambashe Parliamentary Constituency in 2008; and

(b) how the revenue collected was utilised.

431 Mr D Mwila (Chipili) - to ask the Minister of Commerce, Trade and Industry:

(a) what the future of Mununshi Banana Scheme in Mwense District is; and

(b) whether the Government has any intentions to repossess the banana plantation above.

432 Mr Chongo (Mwense) - to ask the Minister of Education:

(a) when Kawama Basic School, which is less than 300 metres away from the nearest transformer in Mwense District, will be electrified; and

(b) what the anticipated developmental benefits of electrifying the school are.

433 Mr Hamusonde (Nangoma) - to ask the Minister of Local Government and Housing what measures have been taken to eradicate the rampant illegal meat vending in the markets of Lusaka.

434 Kapata (Mandevu) - to ask the Minister of Education why the Ministry takes long to promote teachers who upgrade their academic qualifications.

435 Mr Mukanga (Kantanshi) - to ask the Minister of Works and Supply when the Pedicle Road will be tarred.
