QUESTIONS FOR ORAL ANSWER
65 Mr Nkombo (Mazabuka Central) - to ask the Minister of Health:
(a) whether the Ministry is aware that Tuberculosis (TB) drug known as 4FDC has run out at the Mazabuka District Hospital;
(b) what has caused the shortage of the drug;
(c) what dangers TB patients in Mazabuka District face as a result of the non-availability of the drug; and
(d) what measures have been taken to redress the shortage of the drug at the above-mentioned hospital.
66 Mr D Mwila (Chipili) - to ask the Minister of Energy and Water Development:
(a) when the Government will electrify the following Chiefs’ palaces in Mwense District:
(i) Mwenda;
(ii) Mutipula; and
(iii) Katuta Kampemba;
(b) how much money will be spent on the electrification of the palaces; and
(c) what caused the delay in the electrification of the palaces.
67 Mr Kambwili (Roan) - to ask the Minister of Finance and National Planning:
(a) what major investments the Zambia State Insurance Corporation has both within and outside the country;
(b) what the net asset value of the Corporation currently is;
(c) how often the Board of the Corporation meets in each financial year; and
(d) who the current Board members are.
68 Mr Mukanga (Kantanshi) - to ask the Minister of Community Development and Social Services:
(a) how many persons with disabilities were awarded scholarships to study at institutions of higher learning in the period 2006 to 2010; and
(b) how many have graduated and have been employed in Government ministries.
69 Mr Mukanga (Kantanshi) - to ask the Minister of Tourism, Environment and Natural Resources what the average national rate of deforestation was as of June, 2010.
