161    Mr V Mwale (Chipangali) - to ask the Minister of Education whether the Ministry has any plans to upgrade Jerusalem Basic School to high school level.

162    Mr D Mwila (Chipili) - to ask the Minister of Mines and Minerals Development:

(a)    how much money Mopani Copper Mines Plc intends to invest in the opening of two new shafts in Kitwe;

(b)    how many jobs will be created; and

(c)    what the expected output of copper ore is annually from the shafts.

QUESTIONS FOR WRITTEN ANSWER

W10    Mr Kambwili (Roan) - to ask the Minister of Health:

(a)    how many women died during childbirth from 2009 to-date, country-wide and why;

(b)    how many infants died at birth in the same period and what were the causes; and

(c)    what measures the Government has taken to reduce such deaths.

W11    Mr Imenda (Lukulu East) - to ask the Minister of Tourism, Environment and Natural Resources:

(a)    whether the Environmental Council of Zambia (ECZ) did issue any enforcement notices to various institutions in relation to failure to observe statutory obligations in 2008 and 2009 and, if so, what was the nature of the offences;

(b)    what type of offences were prevalent; and

(c)    whether any legal action was taken against the ECZ for negligence of duty in the same period.
