184    Mr D Mwila (Chipili) - to ask the Minister of Health:

(a)    when Musonda Falls Clinic will be opened;

(b)    what has caused the delay in opening the clinic; and

(c)    when the construction of houses at the clinic will be completed.

185    Mr Ntundu (Gwembe) - to ask the Minister of Health:
    
(a)    when the Government will construct houses for nurses at Gwembe District Hospital;

(b)    how many houses are earmarked for construction;

(c)    what the estimated total cost is; and

(d)    which contractor will be engaged to construct the houses.

186    Mr Imenda (Lukulu East) - to ask the Minister of Education when Libonda Upper Basic School in Liuwa Parliamentary Constituency will be upgraded to high school level.

187    Mr Imenda (Lukulu East) - to ask the Minister of Livestock and Fisheries Development:

(a)    which districts in the Western Province recorded the highest number of cattle disease outbreaks from 2005 to 2010;

(b)    how many head of cattle died as a result of outbreaks of diseases; and

(c)    when the Ministry last conducted a census to determine the cattle population in the Province.

188    Mr Kambwili (Roan) - to ask the Minister of Commerce, Trade and Industry:

(a)    when the Zambia Tannery Company (ZAMTAN) was closed;

(b)    how many people were employed by the Company at the time of its closure; and

(c)    whether the employees were paid their terminal benefits and, if not, when the ex-employees will be paid.

189    Mr Kambwili (Roan) - to ask the Minister of Energy and Water Development:

(a)    what the progress on the construction of the Shiwang’andu Hydro Power Station project is;

(b)    what the total power output will be upon completion;

(c)    what the estimated cost of the project is;

(d)    what the source of funding is;

(e)    when the construction of the project will be completed; and

(f)    who the contractors are.

190    Mr Kamondo (Mufumbwe) - to ask the Minister of Education when repairs will be undertaken at Kalende Basic School in Mufumbwe Parliamentary Constituency:

(a)    to a roof of a house which was blown off; and

(b)    to a water pump that broke down.

191    Mr Chisala (Chilubi) - to ask the Minister of Education what the total number of female District Education Board Secretaries (DEBS) was as of 30th September, 2010, country-wide.

192    Mr D Mwila (Chipili) - to ask the Minister of Communications and Transport how many employees were re-engaged after the take-over of Zamtel as of September, 2010.

193    Mr Imenda (Lukulu East) - to ask the Minister of Tourism, Environment and Natural Resources:

(a)    what the general population of wild animals in the Liuwa National Park has been following the management take-over by African Parks;

(b)    whether the new management has introduced new animal species since the take-over and, if so, what the new species are; and

(c)    what measures have been taken to combat poaching in the National Park.

194    Mr Kambwili (Roan) - to ask the Minister of Mines and Minerals Development:

(a)    what the total area of Maamba Collieries Mine is;

(b)    how much land was sold to Nava Barat of Singapore;

(c)    why the Government demarcated part of the land and allocated it to Zambezi Exploration and Collium Coal Mine; and

(d)    who authorised the demarcation.

195    Mr Kamondo (Mufumbwe) - to ask the Minister of Home Affairs:

(a)    when the Government will construct a police station, a state prison and staff houses in Mufumbwe District; and

(b)    when the police post will be provided with a suitable motor vehicle.

196    Mr Kamondo (Mufumbwe) - to ask the Minister of Health when Mufumbwe Health Centre will be upgraded to hospital level and provided with theatre equipment.

197    Mr Chisala (Chilubi) - to ask the Minister of Mines and Minerals Development how many tonnes of the following minerals were produced from 2006 to 2009:

(a)    copper;        

(b)    cobalt;

(c)    manganese;        

(d)    gold; and

(e)    coal.

198    Mr Chisala (Chilubi) - to ask the Minister of Education why some teachers, who retired from the teaching service in 2008 and 2009, have not yet been paid their terminal benefits.

199    Mr Kambwili (Roan) - to ask the Minister of Health:

(a)    what the current establishment of the following categories of health workers is at the University Teaching Hospital:

(i)    doctors;    
(ii)    registered nurses and midwives; and
(iii)    enrolled nurses and midwives;

(b)    how many births were recorded in 2009 at this hospital; and

(c)    what the total number of patients admitted in 2009 was at the same hospital.

200    Mr Kambwili (Roan) - to ask the Minister of Finance and National Planning:

(a)    how much revenue the Government collected in the form of carbon tax since its inception; and

(b)    whether the tax has been used to mitigate environmental effects.

201    Mr Kamondo (Mufumbwe) - to ask the Minister of Health when a rural health post will be constructed at Lalafuta in Mufumbwe Parliamentary Constituency.

202    Mr Chongo (Mwense) - to ask the Minister of Tourism, Environment and Natural Resources:

(a)    how many tonnes of timber were utilised by Konkola and Mopani Copper Mines in their works from 2006 to 2009;

(b)    whether the Companies have planted trees and, if so, what the total hectarage is; and

(c)    what other measures have the Companies employed to promote afforestation.

203    Mr Mwango (Kanchibiya) - to ask the Minister of Local Government and Housing:

(a)    how much money has the National Housing Authority (NHA) spent on construction of houses in the following cities:

(i)    Lusaka;        
(ii)   Ndola;
(iii)  Livingstone; and    
(iv) Kitwe; and

(b)    how many houses has the NHA built in the cities above.
