235    Mr Imenda (Lukulu East) - to ask the Minister of Agriculture and Co- operatives:

(a)    how many metric tonnes of maize were designated for export in 2010; and

(b)    what is the Food Reserve Agency’s total storage capacity for long-term holding of grain as strategic reserves.

236    Mr Imenda (Lukulu East) - to ask the Minister of Energy and Water Development whether the Government has any plans for the Sioma Falls in Shangombo District and, if so, what the plans are.

237    Mr Kambwili (Roan) - to ask the Minister of Health:

(a)    when a School of Medicine will be opened at Ndola Central Hospital;

(b)    how many students are expected to enrol for the first intake;
and

(c)    which university will the school be affiliated to.

238    Mr Imenda (Lukulu East) - to ask the Vice President and Minister of Justice:

(a)    how much money the defunct Task Force on Corruption spent on its operations from 2002 to 2009; and

(b)    how much money was realised by the Task Force from cases of plunder in the same period.

239    Mr Mwango (Kanchibiya) - to ask the Minister of Agriculture and Co- operatives:

(a)    how much money the Food Reserve Agency spent on the construction of grain storage sheds country-wide from 2006 to-date;

(b)    in which areas of the country the storage sheds were constructed; and

(c)    whether the Government is satisfied with storage arrangements for the 2009/2010 crops.

240    Mr Mwango (Kanchibiya) - to ask the Minister of Energy and Water Development what progress the Government has made in the disposal of the 50% shareholding in Indeni Oil Refinery following the pull out of Total Zambia Limited.

241    Mr Katuka (Mwinilunga East) - to ask the Minister of Health whether the Government has any plans to construct rural health centres in the following areas in Mwinilunga East Parliamentary Constituency:

(a)    Kalumbinga in Chief Kakoma;

(b)    Samuteba in Chief Sailunga;

(c)    Nkenyauli; and

(d)    Kankaja ‘B’ in Chief Kakoma.

242    Mr Katuka (Mwinilunga East) - to ask the Minister of Education how many teachers are currently not receiving the following allowances in Mwinilunga East Parliamentary Constituency:

(a)    settling-in;

(b)    rural hardship; and

(c)    remote hardship.

243    Mrs Kawandami (Chifubu) - to ask the Minister of Health how many cases of malnutrition and kwashiorkor were reported among under-five children as of December, 2009, country-wide.

244    Mr D Mwila (Chipili) - to ask the Minister of Sport, Youth and Child Development:

(a)    how much money the Government spent on the team of sports persons who participated in the Commonwealth Games in India in 2010;

(b)    what the size of the contingent was; and

(c)    why the contingent performed poorly at the games.

245    Mr D Mwila (Chipili) - to ask the Minister of Mines and Minerals Development:

(a)    how many unions represented workers in the mining industry as of September, 2010;

(b)    why a contractors’ union was registered to operate in the mining industry; and

(c)    whether the Government is satisfied with the operations of trade unions in the sector.

246    Dr Chishya (Pambashe) - to ask the Minister of Science, Technology and Vocational Training whether there are any plans to upgrade some of the training institutions falling under the Ministry into corresponding universities or polytechnic colleges.

247    Dr Chishya (Pambashe) - to ask the Minister of Local Government and Housing whether there are any plans of:

(a)    creating more parking areas for motor vehicles in the city centre of Lusaka; and

(b)    replacing unplanned shanty-compounds that have mushroomed country-wide with modern residential townships in line with Government policy on housing.

248    Mr Mpombo (Kafulafuta) - to ask the Minister of Home Affairs when the National Registration Card issuance exercise will be conducted at the following centres in Ndola District, which were not covered during the recent exercise on the Copperbelt:

(a)    Kambowa;

(b)    Bangwe; and

(c)    Munkulungwe.

249    Mr Chisala (Chilubi) - to ask the Minister of Home Affairs how many cases of unlawful detentions were recorded from courts in the following provinces from 30th June 2009 to-date:

(a)    Lusaka; and

(b)    Northern.
