QUESTIONS FOR ORAL ANSWER

373 Mr Ntundu (Gwembe) - to ask the Minister of Energy and Water Development:

(a) what the country’s daily consumption of the following fuel products is:

(i) diesel;
(ii) petrol;
(iii) jet A-1; and
(iv) kerosene; and

(b) what the total cost of the above products on a daily basis is.

374 Mr D Mwila (Chipili) - to ask the Minister of Labour and Social Security:

(a) what the total membership of trade unions in the mining industry was as of September, 2010; and

(b) what the composition of the bargaining units of the trade unions above was in 2010.

375 Mr Chisala (Chilubi) - to ask the Minister of Education how many students were granted Government bursaries to study at the University of Zambia at undergraduate and post graduate levels between 2004 and 2010, year by year.

376 Mr D Mwila (Chipili) - to ask the Minister of Health:

(a) when the construction of Chipili Health Centre in Mwense District will be completed;

(b) how much money has so far been spent on the project; and

(c) why the Ministry excluded the construction of the children’s wing at the health centre.

377 Mr D Mwila (Chipili) - to ask the Minister of Home Affairs:

(a) how many foreign nationals were granted political asylum from 2008 to 2010;

(b) which countries the foreign nationals came from; and

(c) how much money the Government spent to look after the foreign nationals at (a) above.

QUESTIONS FOR WRITTEN ANSWER

W12 Mr Milupi (Luena) - to ask the Minister of Commerce, Trade and Industry:

(a) what the state of play of the Economic Partnership Agreements (EPAs) pertaining to Zambia currently is;

(b) what outstanding issues militate against Zambia signing the Agreements;

(c) what steps the Government has taken in resolving these issues; and

(d) what risks the country faces should it not sign the full EPAs by a certain date.

W13 Mr Milupi (Luena) - to ask the Minister of Livestock and Fisheries Development:

(a) how much money the Government spent on cattle related programmes from 2005 to 2009, year by year and province by province; and

(b) what criteria were used to allocate the money in (a) to the provinces.

W14 Mr Milupi (Luena) - to ask the Minister of Communications and Transport:

(a) what the current progress on the clearing and deepening of the following canals in Luena Parliamentary Constituency is:

(i) Namitome;
(ii) Ndanda;
(iii) Moyowamo;
(iv) Ushaa;
(v) Nangula;
(vi) Nonge;
(vii) Ikabako; and
(viii) Kabombo; and

(b) when new canals will be constructed at the following places in Luena Parliamentary Constituency:

(i) Mweke-itema-sopu;
(ii) Ilundu-kabako;
(iii) Miulwe-ndiku-nangula;
(iv) Ituku-Kasheke-maongo; and
(v) Nalwamba.

W15 Mr Katuka (Mwinilunga East) - to ask the Minister of Energy and Water Development what the total number of boreholes sunk in Mwinilunga East Parliamentary Constituency is from 2008 to-date, year by year, and in which areas.
