QUESTIONS FOR ORAL ANSWER

101  Mr D Mwila (Chipili) - to ask the Minister of Works and Supply:

(a) when tarring of the Kasama-Luwingu road will be completed;

(b) what the initial project time frame was;

(c) how much money will be spent on the remaining stretch of the road; and

(d) how many kilometres were tarred as of 30th June, 2009.

102 Mr Chazangwe (Choma Central) - to ask the Minister of Health:

(a) why the Zambia Flying Doctor Service does not operate in Choma District; and

(b) whether there are any immediate plans to introduce the Flying Doctor Service in the District.

103  Mr D Mwila (Chipili)  - to ask the Minister of Sport, Youth and Child Development:

(a) how much money the Government will spend on the construction of the new stadium in Ndola;

(b) what the source of funding for this project is;

(c) which contractor has been engaged to construct the stadium; and

(d) how many Chinese nationals have been engaged to work on this project.

104 Mr C K Banda (Chasefu) - to ask the Minister of Energy and Water Development when the Lundazi Dam, which is currently silted, in Lundazi District, will be dredged.

105 Ms Limata (Luampa) - to ask the Minister of Works and Supply how the money for the rehabilitation of the Sesheke-Sikongo-Shangombo road was utilized.

106 Mr C Mulenga (Chinsali Central) - to ask the Minister of Home Affairs when the Government will construct police posts in the following places in Chinsali Parliamentary Constituency:

(a) Chief Nkweto’s area;

(b) Chief Mubanga’s area; and

(c) Senior Chief Nkula’s area.

107 Mr Kambwili (Roan) - to ask the Minister of Home Affairs:

(a) what the capacity of Luanshya Prison is;

(b) how many in-mates are currently held at the prison;

(c) how does the Government intend to decongest this prison;

(d) how many meals the in-mates take per day at the prison; and

(e) what the recommended number of meals per day is.

108 Mr Milupi (Luena) - to ask the Minister of Energy and Water Development when the following basic schools in Mongu District, which were surveyed by the Rural Electrification Authority and the Japanese International  Cooperation Agency (JICA) in 2007, will be connected to the national electricity grid:

(a) Kaande;  
(b) Mawawa;
(c) Namitome;
(d) Mweke;
(e) Ikabako;
(f) Nangula;
(g) Miulwe;
(h) Kaongeta;
(i) Malala; and
(j) Ndanda.

109 Mr E C Mwansa (Chifunabuli) - to ask the Minister of Works and Supply when Sable Transport Company which was contracted to work on the Mano-Mwewa road in Chifunabuli Parliamentary Constituency will work on the loop between Kandolo and Senior Chief Mwewa’s palace which was inadvertently omitted from the works.

110 Mr Sejani (Mapatizya) - to ask the  Minister of Education when the Ministry will construct the Siamutwezuba Basic School in Mapatizya Parliamentary Constituency.
