183    Mr D Mwila (Chipili) - to ask the Minister of Finance and National Planning:

(a)    how much money was kept in the foreign reserves from January, 2006 to June, 2009, year by year;

(b)    whether the reserve levels have been decreasing and, if so, what the reasons for the decrease are; and

(c)    where the reserves are kept.

184    Mr Mwango (Kanchibiya) - to ask the Minister of Sport, Youth and Child Development when a department to run sports for persons with disabilities will be established.
        
185    Major Chibamba (Shiwang’andu) - to ask the Minister of Works and Supply when the construction of the bridge at Safwa on the Chambeshi River, on D56 road, in Shiwang’andu Parliamentary Constituency, will commence.

186    Mr Malama (Mfuwe) - to ask the Minister of Agriculture and Co-operatives when the storage sheds in Mfuwe Parliamentary Constituency will be rehabilitated.

QUESTIONS FOR WRITTEN ANSWER

W20    Mr Mwango (Kanchibiya) - to ask the Minister of Finance and National Planning:

(a)    what the financial status of the Zambia State Insurance Corporation Limited (ZSIC) was as of December, 2008;

(b)    how much profit the corporation made from 2001 to 2008, year by year; and

(c)    how much, in dividends, was declared to the Government in the period at (b) above.

W21    Mr Mwango (Kanchibiya) - to ask the Minister of Sport, Youth and Child Development:

(a)    what the financial status of the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) was as of June, 2009;

(b)    how much money FAZ owed other institutions;

(c)    when FAZ will settle the above debt; and

(d)    how much money the Government released to FAZ from 2006 to 2008, year by year.

W22    Dr Machungwa (Luapula) - to ask the Minister of Communications and Transport:

(a)    what the annual budgetary allocation towards canal clearing and maintenance country-wide, from 2002 to 2009, has been;

(b)    whether the allocations are adequate and, if not, what amount of money the Ministry considers adequate; and

(c)    when the Ministry will procure dredgers for the Bangweulu Swamps and other areas.

 W23    Mr Kambwili (Roan) - to ask the Minister of Health:

(a)    how many trainee nurses were enrolled at Roan Antelope Nursing School from its inception to-date;

(b)    of these trainee nurses, how many graduated and have been posted to health facilities within Luanshya; and

(c)    if none, how many will be posted to Luanshya District after graduating.
