210 Mr D Mwila (Chipili) - to ask the Minister of Works and Supply:

(a) when the Government will pay terminal benefits to former employees of the Mechanical Services Department (MSD) that was abolished in the 1990s;

(b) how many former employees of the MSD are still unpaid and what the total amount outstanding is; and

(c) why it has taken long to pay the terminal benefits.

211 Mr Mwango (Kanchibiya) - to ask the Minister of Local Government and Housing:

(a) how many housing units were owned by the National Housing Authority (NHA) country-wide as of December, 2008;

(b) what the total value of the properties at (a) is; and

(c) what the future plans of the authority are regarding building more houses country-wide.
