QUESTIONS FOR ORAL ANSWER

533    Mr Mwango (Kanchibiya) - to ask the Minister of Home Affairs:

(a)    when investigations into Zambian Airways operations by security agencies will be completed;

(b)    what the delay in the completion of investigations has been; and

(c)    how much money the Government spent on the above investigations as of 31st March, 2010.

534    Mr D Mwila (Chipili) - to ask the Minister of Education:

(a)    when the construction of the following basic schools in Chipili Parliamentary Constituency will be completed:

(i)    Mulunda;        
(ii)    Chisheta;
(iii)    Chikubi; and    
(iv)    Kalundu;

(b)    what has caused the delay in completing the project; and

(c)    how much money will be spent on the construction of the schools.

535    Ms Limata (Luampa) - to ask the Minister of Health:

(a)    when construction of the Shangombo District Hospital will be completed; and

(b)    how much money will be spent on the construction works.

536    Mr D Mwila (Chipili) - to ask the Minister of Education:

(a)    how much money the Government will spend on the procurement of school desks for Luapula Province in 2010;

(b)    how many desks will be procured;

(c)    how many desks are earmarked for distribution to schools in Chipili Parliamentary Constituency; and

(d)    whether there are any plans to repair damaged desks in Mwense District.

537    Mr Imenda (Lukulu East) - to ask the Minister of Communications and
Transport when information and communication technology infrastructure will be developed in Lukulu East Parliamentary Constituency.

538    Mr Hamusonde (Nangoma) - to ask the Minister of Energy and Water Development whether the Government has any plans to construct or rehabilitate silted dams in Nangoma Parliamentary Constituency, in particular, and the country, in general.

539    Mr Malama (Mfuwe)     - to ask the Minister of Labour and Social Security:

(a)    what the current composition of the Government negotiation team with the Public Service Unions is; and

(b)    why is there always a delay in completing the negotiations between the two teams.

540    Mr Malama (Mfuwe) - to ask the Minister of Local Government and Housing when the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) guidelines will be revised.

541    Mr Chisala (Chilubi) - to ask the Minister of Communications and Transport:

(a)    when the Government will extend both the taxiways and the aprons at the following airports:

(i)    Lusaka International;    
(ii)    Ndola International;
(iii)    Livingstone International;    
(iv)    Kasama; and
(v)    Mbala; and

(b)    When Mbala Airport will be provided with a control tower with the necessary communication and navigation equipment.

542    Mr Katuka (Mwinilunga East) - to ask the Minister of Home Affairs how many eligible citizens obtained National Registration Cards in Mwinilunga District during the 2009/2010 mobile registration exercise, constituency by constituency.

Second Report of the Committee on Legal Affairs, Governance, Human Rights and Gender Matters: That this House do adopt the Second Report of the Committee on Legal Affairs, Governance, Human Rights and Gender Matters, for the Fourth Session of the Tenth National Assembly, laid on the Table of the House on 12th July, 2010.
