QUESTIONS FOR ORAL ANSWER

578    Mr Chisala (Chilubi) - to ask the  Minister of Health:

(a)    how much money Government sponsored students in each of the following categories pay per semester at Chainama College of Health Sciences:

(i)   Clinical Officers;        
(ii)   Environmental Technicians;
(iii)  Psychiatric Nurses; and
(iv) Medical Licenciates; and

(b)    how much self-sponsored students pay per semester in the same categories.
    
579    Mr Chisala (Chilubi) - to ask the Minister of Home Affairs:

(a)    whether the Government has any plans to organise workshops for crime prevention units country-wide; and

(b)    why the crime prevention unit members have not been equipped with the necessary tools to fight crime in various communities.

580    Mr Hamusonde (Nangoma) - to ask the Vice President and Minister of Justice when the local court building, in Nangoma Parliamentary Constituency, will be rehabilitated.
    
581    Mr Hamusonde (Nangoma) - to ask the Minister of Mines and Minerals Development what social responsibility activities the Lwili Mine in Nangoma Parliamentary Constituency is engaged in.

582    Mr Imenda (Lukulu East) - to ask the Minister of Health:

(a)    what has been the annual death rate from 2005 to 2010 due to the following:

(i)    HIV/AIDS related diseases; and
(ii)    Malaria; and

(b)    how much the donor support to the Ministry was in comparison to Government support in the same period.
 
583    Mr Mwango (Kanchibiya) - to ask the Minister of Finance and National Planning:

(a)    how much debt the Government contracted from China from 2008 to 2009; and

(b)    what the conditionalities for the loans were.
    
584    Mr Imenda (Lukulu East) - to ask the Minister of Finance and National Planning whether the Government has any policy regarding the utilisation of donor funds and, if so, what the policy provides.

585    Mr Chisala (Chilubi) - to ask the Minister of Finance and National Planning why funds allocated for various projects in the Northern Province were not released as of December, 2009.

586    Mr Malama (Mfuwe) - to ask the Minister of Education whether there are any plans to introduce sign language in basic schools.
    
587    Mr D Mwila (Chipili) - to ask the Minister of Finance and National Planning:

(a)    how much money the Government received from the European Union for the poverty reduction programme in 2008 and 2009; and

(b)    how much money is expected from the European Union for the same programme in 2010.

588    Mr D Mwila (Chipili) - to ask the Minister of Tourism, Environment and Natural Resources:

(a)    why the Government applied for the World Bank pilot programme for climate resilience;

(b)    how much money the Government will receive for the above programme; and
