QUESTIONS FOR ORAL ANSWER
8 Mr Lubinda - to ask the Minister of Education what are the approved hours of learning and teaching per week for Basic and High Schools.
9 Mr Lubinda - to ask the Minister of Local Government and Housing what is the management arrangement for Lusaka Intercity Bus Station.
10 Mr Mwangala - to ask the Minister of Home Affairs:
(a) what measures were taken by the Government to eliminate the activities of hired killers known as the KARAVINAS in the Nalolo Parliamentary Constituency from 2003 to 2005; and
(b) whether the measures taken by the Government were effective in controlling the activities of the KARAVINAS and in maintaining law and order in the area.
11 Mr Mwangala - to ask the Minister of Education whether there are plans to establish a high school in the densely populated area of Nalolo Parliamentary Constituency.
12 Mr Kasongo - to ask the Minister of Works and Supply when construction of the Chembe Bridge on the Luapula River will be completed.
13 Mr Kasongo - to ask the Minister of Agriculture and Co-operatives how many tonnes of D Compound and Urea fertilisers were sent to provinces and districts as of the end of September, 2006 for the 2006/2007 farming season.
14 Mr Lubinda - to ask the Minister of Education whether the Government has any plans to introduce distance learning in Basic and High Schools.
15 Mr Lubinda - to ask the Minister of Local Government and Housing how much and on what specific components has been spent in the development and implementation of the decentralization plan since its inception.
16 Mr Kasongo - to ask the Minister of Education how far the Government has gone in implementing free education up to Grade 7.
17 Mr Kasongo - to ask the Minister of Sport, Youth and Child Development how many stadiums has the Government planned to build in Zambia in readiness for the FIFA World Football Competition to be held in South Africa in 2010.
