QUESTIONS FOR ORAL ANSWER
273 Mr Mwangala - to ask the Minister of Works and Supply whether there are plans to tar the two (2) kilometre road leading to the Muoyo Royal Establishment.
274 Mr Imenda - to ask the Minister of Education:
(a) when the University of Zambia (UNZA) will build more students’ hostels, taking into consideration the current acute shortage of hostel accommodation at UNZA;
(b) how many UNZA students are currently accommodated;
(c) how many UNZA students require accommodation; and
(d) whether there any plans to engage private contractors to build the hostels referred to at (a).
275 Mr Kasongo - to ask the Minister of Finance and National Planning:
(a) how much money is required to pay off the electricity arrears owed to ZESCO by the Government since 2001 to date; and
(b) what measures the Government has taken to liquidate the electricity arrears owed to ZESCO to ensure that the company maintains its physical assets regularly.
276 Dr Chishimba - to ask the Minister of Labour and Social Security what system the Government has put in place to ensure that foreign investors comply with labour laws.
277 Mr Chimbaka - to ask the Minister of Agriculture and Co-operatives what measures the Government has taken to search for foreign markets for Zambia’s cassava products.
