370 Mr D Mwila (Chipili) - to ask the Minister of Home Affairs:

(a) what is the background and the Government’s immediate reaction to the alleged Katanga border closure with Zambia and the halting of copper and cobalt exports from the Democratic Republic of Congo to Zambia;

(b) how many trucks carrying copper and cobalt are marooned at the border; and

(c) what the socio-economic implications the border closure has on the country.

371 Mr Imenda (Lukulu East) - to ask the Minister of Home Affairs what joint measures the Governments of Zambia and Angola have taken to stop the following along their common border:

(i) trafficking of light weapons;
(ii) movement of  hired killers known as KARAVINAS;
(iii) movement of livestock; and
(iv) outbreak of cattle diseases.

372 Mrs Musokotwane (Katombola) - to ask the Minister of Local Government and Housing:

(a) how many council employees benefited from the Workers’ Compensation Fund Control Board from 1990 to 2005; and

(b) how much money did each employee receive.
