QUESTIONS FOR ORAL ANSWER

914 Dr Njobvu (Milanzi) - to ask the Minister of Education when rehabilitation of the following schools in Milanzi Parliamentary Constituency will commence:

(i) Katiula School;
(ii) Mathipa School;
(iii) Kagoro School; and
(iv) Chirwa School.

915 Mr Mwapela (Kalabo Central) - to ask the Minister of Works and Supply when a qualified buildings officer will be sent to Kalabo District.

916 Mr Sichamba (Isoka West) - to ask the Minister of Tourism, Environment and Natural Resources:

(a) how many people from the Northern Province, in general, and Isoka District, in particular, have benefited from the Tourism Credit Facility; and

(b) what measures the Ministry has taken to sensitise the public, in general, and the people of Isoka District, in particular, about the existence of the above credit facility.

917 Mr Sejani (Mapatizya) -to ask the Minister of Energy and Water Development whether the Government has any deliberate plans to construct dams in the country and, if so, when will such a programme be extended to Mapatizya Parliamentary Constituency.

918 Mr Msichili (Kabushi) - to ask the Minister of Labour and Social Security whether the Ministry has any plans to establish a labour data bank for all trained personnel in Zambia both retired and in employment in order to reduce the country’s dependence on expatriate labour.

919 Silavwe (Nakonde) - to ask the Minister of Energy and Water Development when electrification of Chieftainess Nawaitwika’s Palace in Nakonde Parliamentary Constituency, which was abandoned in 2006 due to shortage of poles, will be completed.

920 Mr Mwale (Chipangali) - to ask the Minister of Gender and Women in Development whether there are plans to provide women with income-generating equipment such as cooking oil and peanut butter-making machines and, if so, when.

921 Mr Singombe (Dundumwenzi) - to ask the Minister of Agriculture and Co-operatives when the Government will pay supervisors in satellite depots their dues.

922 Mr Kambwili (Roan) - to ask the Minister of Education why the process of paying repatriation allowances to deserving teachers on the Copperbelt has been delayed for a long time.

923 Mr Mukanga (Kantanshi) - to ask the Minister of Science, Technology and Vocational Training when the buildings for the National Institute for Scientific and Industrial Research along the Airport road were last rehabilitated.
