QUESTION FOR ORAL ANSWER
3 Mr Mwewa (Mwansabombwe) - to ask the Minister of Home Affairs:
(a) whether the Government is aware that three Zambian fishermen were shot at in the lagoons of the Luapula River near Lukwesa area in Mwense District on Saturday, 5th November, 2011, by authorities of a neighbouring country and that two of them died on the spot while one is in a critical condition in Mansa General Hospital; and
(b) what short term and long term measures the Government has taken to protect the lives of its citizens from being killed in similar circumstances.
