QUESTIONS FOR ORAL ANSWER

105    Mr Mwanza (Solwezi West) - to ask the Minister of Home Affairs when a police post at Mutanda in Solwezi West Parliamentary Constituency will be constructed.

106    Mr Ng’onga (Kaputa) - to ask the Minister of Education, Science and Vocational Training:

(a)    when Kaputa High School, which has been under construction for ten years, will be completed and opened to the public;

(b)    how much money had been spent on the project from inception to December, 2011; and

(c)    how much money will be spent on the project on completion.

107    Mr Mufalali (Senanga) - to ask the Minister of Agriculture and Livestock:

(a)    whether there was an outbreak of Contagious Bovine Pleuro Pneumonia (CBPP) and Black leg diseases in Senanga District between October and December, 2011;

(b)    if so, whether the diseases did spread to other districts and provinces;

(c)    what measures were taken to contain the diseases; and

(d)    whether any stock movement ban was effected and, if so, how long the ban remained in force.

108    Mr Njeulu (Sinjembela) - to ask the Minister of Information, Broadcasting and Tourism when the Government will extend the Zambia National Broadcasting Corporation radio and television signals to Shangombo District.

109    Mr Mbulakulima (Chembe) - to ask the Minister of Home Affairs when the Ministry will provide the following facilities to the police post constructed using Constituency Development Fund in Senior Chief Milambo’s area:

(a)    communication equipment;

(b)    solar power to the office block and the three staff houses; and

(c)    transport to enhance security operations.

110    Mr Mwanza (Solwezi West) - to ask the Minister of Home Affairs whether the Government buries deceased prisoners without informing the deceased’s relatives and, if so, how many such prisoners were buried as of 30th November, 2011.

111    Mr Ng’onga (Kaputa) - to ask the Minister of Lands, Energy and Water Development:

(a)    when the connection of Kaputa District to the national electricity grid will be completed; and

(b)    whether the project will be extended to Nsumbu.
