QUESTIONS FOR ORAL ANSWER

204    Ms Sayifwanda (Zambezi East) - to ask the Minister of Education, Science, Vocational Training and Early Education:

(a)    when the Government will complete the construction of the following schools in Zambezi District:

(i)    Nyang’amba Basic; and
(ii)    Kanyitota Middle Basic; and

(b)    when the Government will construct additional classrooms and teachers’ houses at the following basic schools:

(i)    Katontu;
(ii)    Kakeki;
(iii)    Lunkunyi;
(iv)    Chizenzi;
(v)    Kasesi;
(vi)    Mpidi;
(vii)    Kakong’a;
(viii)    Nyilamba; and
(ix)    Kayula.

205    Ms Sayifwanda (Zambezi East) - to ask the Minister of Education, Science, Vocational Training and Early Education:

(a)    when the Government will construct laboratories at the following high schools in Zambezi District:

(i)    Chitokoloki;
(ii)    Mpidi;
(iii)    Dipalata; and
(iv)    Kaumbu; and

(b)    when the high schools at (a) above will become examination centres for Grade 12 examinations.

206    Mr Hamusonde (Nangoma) - to ask the Vice President whether the Government has any plans to make voting in elections mandatory for all qualified citizens.

207    Mr Chisala (Chilubi) - to ask the Vice President:

(a)    how many tonnes of relief food were distributed to the Northern Province in 2010 and 2011; and

(b)    which districts benefited, in each year above.

208    Mr Chisala (Chilubi) - to ask the Vice President:

(a)    when the books of account at the Electoral Commission of Zambia were last audited; and

(b)    whether the audit was done within the stipulated time-frame and, if not, why did it take long.

209    Mr Chisala (Chilubi) - to ask the Vice President why the office of the District Commissioner has no accounting officers in some districts.

210    Mr Mwanza (Solwezi West) - to ask the Vice President:

(a)    how many civil servants were employed on permanent and pensionable terms from 1st January, 2011 to 31st December, 2011; and

(b)    how many daily classified employees there were in the civil service in the same period.

211    Mr Chisala (Chilubi) - to ask the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Tourism how many local authorities benefited from the funds for the development of the game management areas in Northern Province from January, 2008 to November, 2011.

212    Mr Chungu (Luanshya) - to ask the Vice President whether the Government has, so far, paid out any money in the form of retirement dues to the Fourth President of Zambia, Mr Rupiah Bwezani Banda.

213    Mr Lufuma (Kabompo West) - to ask the Minister of Mines, Energy and Water Development when Kabompo, Mufumbwe and Zambezi Districts will be connected to the national electricity grid.
