QUESTIONS FOR ORAL ANSWER

81    Mrs A M Chungu (Lufwanyama) - to ask the Minister of Education, Science, Vocational Training and Early Education when the newly constructed Lufwanyama Boarding High School will be opened to the public.

82    Mr Lufuma (Kabompo West) - to ask the Minister of Commerce, Trade and Industry:

(a)    whether the Government has any plans to revive the pineapple canary plant in Mwinilunga as a way of creating employment for the local community;

(b)    if so, what the plans are;

(c)    whether the Private Public Partnership arrangement is among the plans for reviving the plant; and

(d)    if there are no plans to revive the plant, what the reasons are.

83    Mr Sichula (Nakonde) - to ask the Minister of Local Government and Housing when the Government will establish a water utility company for the Muchinga Province.

84    Mr Chishiba (Kafulafuta) - to ask the Minister of Home Affairs whether the Government has any plans to establish a police post in Kafulafuta Parliamentary Constituency which currently has none.

85    Mr Mutale (Kwacha) - to ask the Minister of Agriculture and Livestock:

(a)    whether the Government has any plans to increase the number of cattle in the country to mitigate the shortage of beef; and

(b)    whether the Government has any plans to establish a ranch in each province.

86    Mr Chansa (Chimbamilonga) - to ask the Minister of Home Affairs:

(a)    whether the Government has any plans to construct immigration offices at Nsumbu Border Post in Chimbamilonga Parliamentary Constituency; and

(b)    when more immigration officers will be posted to the Border Post.

87    Mr Chisala (Chilubi) - to ask the Minister of Health:

(a)    how many patients were treated in Chilubi District by the Northern Province Health Office during its mobile clinic exercise in January, 2012;

(b)    of the patients at (a), how many were:

(i)    operated on; and
(ii)    referred to other health facilities and for which illnesses; and

(c)    how much money was spent on the exercise.

88    Mr Chisala (Chilubi) - to ask the Minister of Education, Science, Vocational Training and Early Education how many desks were procured and distributed to schools in the following Districts in Northern Province in 2011:

(a)    Chilubi;

(b)    Kaputa;

(c)    Mporokoso;

(d)    Mungwi;

(e)    Mpulungu; and

(f)    Kasama.

89    Mr Njeulu (Sinjembela) - to ask the Minister of Transport, Works, Supply and Communication when the Zambia Information and Communications Technology Authority in conjunction with Airtel will construct communication towers at the following places in Sinjembela Parliamentary Constituency:

(a)    Natukoma;

(b)    Mbopuma;

(c)    Mutunda; and

(d)    Mutomena.

90    Mr Njeulu (Sinjembela) - to ask the Minister of Finance:

(a)    when the funds allocated for the development of Shangombo District will be released; and

(b)    why there has been a delay in the official opening of the Shangombo Border Post.
