QUESTIONS FOR ORAL ANSWER
199 Mr Taundi (Mangango) - to ask the Minister of Mines, Energy and Water Development:
(a) whether the Government has any plans to electrify the following areas in Mangango Parliamentary Constituency:
(i) Mayukwayukwa;
(ii) Chief Mutondo’s Palace;
(iii) Mangango;
(iv) Nyango; and
(v) Zambia National Service Camp;
(b) if so, what the estimated cost of the entire project is; and
(c) when the project is expected to commence.
200 Mr V Mwale (Chipangali) - to ask the Vice President:
(a) what the staff establishment of the Office of the Auditor-General is;
(b) how many positions in the establishment were vacant as of August, 2012; and
(c) what the reasons for the vacant positions, if any, were.
201 Mr S Chungu (Luanshya) - to ask the Minister of Commerce, Trade and Industry:
(a) how effective the Zambia Bureau of Standards has been in its operations; and
(b) why there is a proliferation of low quality goods on the Zambian market.
202 Mr Njeulu (Sinjembela) - to ask the Vice President whether the Government has any plans to divide the Shangombo District into two and, if so, when.
203 Mr Chisala (Chilubi) - to ask the Minister of Education, Science, Vocational
Training and Early Education:
(a) whether there were any teachers that proceeded on paid study leave from January, 2010 to January, 2012; and
(b) if so, what the range of duration of the study leave was for teachers from the following provinces:
(i) Northern;
(ii) Copperbelt;
(iii) Lusaka;
(iv) Luapula;
(v) Eastern; and
(vi) Central.
204 Mr Ntundu (Gwembe) - to ask the Minister of Home Affairs:
(a) how much money, on monthly basis, is spent on running the Zambia Police Force motor vehicles, country-wide;
(b) how many police stations, if any, have motor vehicles but do not receive fuel; and
(c) which company has been contracted to repair the police motor vehicles country-wide.
205 Mr Ntundu (Gwembe) - to ask the Minister of Health:
(a) how many houses for nurses at Gwembe District Hospital are earmarked for construction;
(b) when the construction project will commence;
(c) what the expected cost of the project is; and
(d) what the time-frame for completion of the project is.
206 Mr Sililo (Mulobezi) - to ask the Minister of Education, Science, Vocational Training and Early Education when the Government will construct additional classroom blocks and teachers’ houses at the following basic schools in Mulobezi:
(a) Nawinda;
(b) Mulauli;
(c) Machile;
(d) Salumbwe;
(e) Sejamba;
(f) Kamenyani;
(g) Simisisi;
(h) Tugonte;
(i) Sibala;
(j) Mbulumina;
(k) Sibwaulu;
(l) Kazuzi; and
(m) Namena.
207 Mr Sililo (Mulobezi) - to ask the Minister of Mines, Energy and Water Development:
(a) when the exploration for minerals last took place at Nawinda in Mulobezi District;
(b) what the results of the exploration were; and
(c) if the results were positive, when mining will commence.
208 Mr Chisala (Chilubi) - to ask the Minister of Local Government and Housing when Government will construct speed humps at Chifubu stream in Ndola.
209 Mr B Mutale (Kwacha) - to ask the Minister of Education, Science, Vocational Training and Early Education:
(a) whether the Government has any plans to build schools in Chantente Ward in Kwacha Parliamentary Constituency and, if so, when the plans will be implemented; and
(b) when high schools will be constructed in the following wards:
(i) Riverside;
(ii) Lubwa;
(iii) Ipusukilo;
(iv) Bulangililo; and
(v) Kwacha.
210 Mr Njeulu (Sinjembela) - to ask the Vice President when an office block for the Office of the President, Special Division, will be constructed in Shangombo District.
211 Mr Sililo (Mulobezi) - to ask the Minister of Home Affairs:
(a) when Sichili Police Station will be provided with a motor vehicle; and
(b) what the total number of officers at the Station was as of June, 2012.
212 Mr Chisala (Chilubi) - to ask the Minister of Agriculture and Livestock:
(a) how many tonnes of wheat the country produced between January, 2010 and December, 2011, year by year;
(b) which provinces have the highest potential to produce wheat in Zambia; and
(c) of the provinces at (b), which ones are the major contributors to the production of wheat.
213 Mr Chisala (Chilubi) - to ask the Minister of Agriculture and Livestock what the total number of wheat farmers in the country was as of June, 2012.

W9 Mr Njeulu (Sinjembela) - to ask the Minister of Community Development,
Mother and Child Health how much money was spent on women’s clubs from January, 2011 to July, 2012, province by province.
W10 Mr Lufuma (Kabompo West) - to ask the Minister of Education, Science,
Vocational Training and Early Education when the construction of a 1x3 classroom block and three staff houses will commence at the following schools:
(a) Chifuwe South;
(b) Chifuwe Minunga;
(c) Kafungo;
(d) Chifuwe Kandala;
(e) Indeco Compound;
(f) Samununga;
(g) Kamikambi;
(h) Mulundu;
(i) Kapona;
