6. QUESTIONS FOR ORAL ANSWER (STANDING ORDER 80)
17 Mr J Daka (Chadiza) - to ask the Minister of Community Development and Social Services:
(a) how many girls, under the Girls Education and Women’s Empowerment and Livelihoods (GEWEL) Project in Chadiza District, were admitted back to school, from January, 2016 to August, 2025, year by year;
(b) how many women were empowered, financially, under the Supporting Women Livelihood Initiative component of the Project, as of the period above;
(c) whether the Government has any plans to increase the number of beneficiaries under the Project at (a);
(d) whether men will be included on the Project at (a); and
(e) if so, when the plans at (c) and (d) will be implemented.
18 Ms Nakaponda (Isoka) - to ask the Minister of Home Affairs and Internal Security:
(a) whether the Government has any plans to construct police posts in the following areas in Isoka District:
(i) Kafwimbi;
(ii) Lualizi;
(iii) Kampumbu; and
(iv) Kalungu;
(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented; and
(c) how many police posts are earmarked for construction in each of the areas at (a).
19 Mr E Banda (Muchinga) - to ask the Minister of Youth, Sport and Arts:
(a) whether the Government has any plans to empower youths in Muchinga Parliamentary Constituency with the following:
(i) farming equipment;
(ii) mining equipment; and
(iii) motorbikes;
(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented; and
(c) if there are no such plans, why.
