155. Mr Allen Banda (Chimwemwe)   - to ask the Minister of Home Affairs and Internal Security:

(a)    how much money was allocated towards cyber security programmes from January, 2020 to January, 2024;   and

(b)    of the allocated amount, how much was spent on the programmes.


156. Mr Miyutu (Kalabo Central) - to ask the Minister of Fisheries and Livestock:

(a)    what the total number of cattle vaccinated in 2022 and 2023, countrywide, was;

(b)    what diseases were targeted during the vaccination exercise; and

(c)    what short and long term measures are being implemented to control cattle diseases.


157. Mr Chala (Chipili)  - to ask the Minister of Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development:

(a)    when the construction of Mwenda Secondary School in Chipili District will be completed;

(b)    at what level of completion, in percentage terms, the project was, as of April, 2024;

(c)    what the cause of the delay in completing the project is; and

(d)    what the cost of the outstanding works is.


158. Ms Munashabantu (Mapatizya)  -  to ask the Minister of Fisheries and Livestock:

(a)    how many dip tanks there were in Mapatizya Parliamentary Constituency, as of March, 2024;

(b)    whether the Government has any plans to rehabilitate any of the dip tanks in the Constituency;

(c)    if so, how many dip tanks are earmarked for rehabilitation;

(d)    when the rehabilitation exercise will commence; and

(e)    whether the Government has any plans to assist cattle farmers with dipping chemicals.


159. Mr Katakwe (Solwezi East) -    to ask the Minister of Information and Media:

(a) whether there are any plans to upgrade the Zambia National Broadcasting Corporation television transmission systems to enhance picture quality;

(b)    if so, when the plans will be implemented; and

(c)    if there are no such plans, why.


160. Mr Kang’ombe (Kamfinsa) - to ask the Minister of Finance and National Planning:

(a)    what the shareholding structure for Kansanshi Mining Plc in Solwezi District was, as of April, 2024;

(b)    when the current shareholding structure took effect;

(c)    besides the dividends, what other benefits accrue to Zambia Consolidated Copper Mines - Investment Holdings (ZCCM - IH) from its shareholding in the Mine; and

(d) how much ZCCM - IH has earned from the mine, under the current shareholding structure.

 

161. Ms Katuta (Chienge)  - to ask the Minister of Home Affairs and Internal Security:

(a)    whether the Government has any plans to construct a correctional facility in Chienge District;

(b)    if so, when the plans will be implemented; and

(c)    if there are no such plans, why.


162. Ms M Phiri (Milanzi)  - to ask the Minister of Technology and Science:

(a)    whether the Government has any plans to construct communication towers in Milanzi Parliamentary Constituency;

(b)    if so, when the plans will be implemented; and

(c)    if there are no such plans, why.


163. Mr Sing’ombe (Dundumwezi) - to ask the Minister of Education:

(a)    when the following community schools in Dundumwezi Parliamentary Constituency will be upgraded to Government schools:

(i)    Nakalombwe;
(ii)    Humbe;
(iii)    Katini;
(iv)    Hambweka;
(v)    Chipondo; and
(vi)    Kabombo; and

 (b)    when the following primary schools will be upgraded to secondary schools:

(i)    Mikata;
    
(ii)    Sichibeya; and

(iii)    Munyeke.


164. Ms Nakaponda (Isoka) - to ask the Minister of Health:

(a)    whether the Government has any plans to construct additional staff houses at Isoka District Hospital in Isoka District;

(b)    if so, when the plans will be implemented;

(c)    what the estimated cost of the project is; and

(d)    if there are no such plans, why.


165. Mr Hamwaata (Pemba) - to ask the Minister of Water Development and Sanitation:

(a)    whether the Government has any plans to rehabilitate the following dams in Pemba Parliamentary Constituency:

(i)    Hakwangala in Hamaundu Ward;
(ii)    Hangwanyama in Hamaundu Ward;
(iii)    Munene in Hamaundu Ward; and
(iv)    Likwele in Pemba Ward;

(b)    if so, when the plans will be implemented; and

(c)    what the estimated cost of the project is.


166. Mr Kolala (Lufubu) - to ask the Minister of Health:

(a)    when the construction of Mutenda Health Post in Mukubwe Ward in Lufubu Parliamentary Constituency will be completed; and

(b)    what the cause of the delay in completing the project is.

 

167. Mr Mandandi (Sioma)  -  to ask the Minister of Water Development and Sanitation:

(a)    whether the Government has any plans to construct a water reticulation system to supply piped water to the following areas in Sioma Parliamentary Constituency:

(i)    Central Business District;
(ii)    Nasale Village;        
(iii)    Nakatapa Village;         
(iv)    Libingi Village;                
(v)    Malombe Village;
(vi)    Mundando Village;
(vii)    the new District Administration site;
(viii)    Mutomena Secondary School;
(ix)    Mutomena Rural Health Centre;
(x)    Mutomena Agricultural Camp; and
(xi)    Mutomena Police Post;

(b)    if so, when the plans will be implemented;

(c)    what the estimated time frame for the completion of the project is; and

(d)    if there are no such plans, why.


168. Mr Kafwaya (Lunte) - to ask the Minister of Commerce, Trade and Industry what the average retail price of a 25 kilogramme bag of breakfast and roller mealie meal, respectively, was, from August, 2021 to May, 2024, year by year.


169. Mr Kapyanga (Mpika)  - to ask the Minister of Health:

(a)    whether the Government has any plans to upgrade Mpika Urban Clinic in Mpika District to a Level I Hospital;

(b)    if so, when the plans will be implemented;

(c)    what the estimated cost of the project is; and

(d)    if there are no such plans, why.


170.  Mr Miyutu (Kalabo Central)  -  to ask the Minister of Agriculture:

(a)    what the level of tomato production, countrywide, was, as of June, 2024;

(b)    if production was low, what measures are being taken to enhance tomato production; and

(c)    whether there were secure tomato storage facilities, countrywide.
