330.    Mr Chewe (Lubansenshi) - to ask the Minister of Agriculture:

(a)    whether the Government is aware that briefcase buyers have began to purchase maize from small scale farmers;

(b)    if so, what urgent measures are being taken to ensure that the Food Reserve Agency (FRA) purchases and mops up the maize produced during the 2023/2024 farming season, so as to ensure the country is food secure; and

(c)    when FRA will announce the floor price of maize.

331.    Mr Mtayachalo (Chama North) - to ask the Minister of Community Development and Social Services:

(a)    why some beneficiaries of the Social Cash Transfer Programme in Chama North Parliamentary Constituency have not been paid since December, 2023; and

(b)    what urgent measures are being taken to ensure that the beneficiaries are paid, including the arrears.
