(a) why the BGMET (METFORMIN) drugwas recalled by the Zambia Medicines Regulatory Authority on 10th November, 2023;

 

(b) what the cause of the continuous procurement of non-compliant medical drugs is;

 

(c) whether there are any patients that were affected as a result of consuming the non-compliant drug; and

 

(d) what measures are being taken to safeguard the lives of patients who may have consumed the drug and also to ensure that such incidences do not recur.
