153. Mr C Chibuye (Mkushi North)  -  to ask the Minister of Agriculture:

 

(a) whether the Government is aware that some farmers under the e-voucher system in Mkushi North Parliamentary Constituency have not accessed farming inputs due to the delay by the Government to upload their part contribution into the system;

 

(b) if so, what the cause of the delay in uploading the part contribution is; 

 

(c) what measures are being taken to ensure that the matter is urgently resolved considering that the farming season has started; and

 

(d) what the correct input package under the e-voucher system is, as there is conflicting information on the package in Mwembeshi Parliamentary Constituency.

 

Introduce Sign Language And Braille Writing As Optional Subjects In Public Schools:  That in order to actualise the provisions of The Persons with Disabilities Act No 6 of 2012, this House urges the Government to introduce sign language and braille writing as optional subjects in public schools, countrywide.
