142. Mr Emmanuel Banda (Muchinga)  -  to ask the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation:

 

(a) whether the Government is aware that for the past two weeks, Zambian truck drivers have been stranded in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) following a protest by some truck drivers who are not allowing any trucks loaded with copper to move out of the DRC; 

 

(b) if so, what the cause of the protest is; and 

 

(c) what urgent measures are being taken to secure the safe return of the truck drivers.

 

 

143. Mr Mutelo (Mitete)  -  to ask the Minister of Education when the Government will introduce the School Feeding Programme in schools in Mitete District.

 

 

Adopt Report of the Parliamentary Delegation: That this House do adopt the Report of the Zambian Delegation to the 147th Inter-Parliamentary Union Assembly and Related Meetings held in Luanda, Angola from 23rd to 27th October, 2023, for the Third Session of the Thirteenth National Assembly, laid on the Table of the House on Monday, 13th November, 2023.
