Suspend Standing Orders: That Standing Orders 25, 26, 27 and 80 of the National Assembly of Zambia Standing Orders, 2021, be suspended to enable the House to sit from 1415 hours until business has been concluded on Friday, 29th September, 2023, and also to omit the Vice President’s Question Time from the Order Paper.

 

 

55. Mr. Lungu (Kapoche) - to ask the Minister of Finance and National Planning whether the Government has any plans to facilitate the provision of mobile banking services in Kapoche Parliamentary Constituency, so as to provide easy access to payments from the Food Reserve Agency.

 

 

56. Ms.Halwiindi (Kabwe Central) - to ask the Minister of Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development:

 

 

(a) when the construction of the Zambia National Broadcasting Corporation offices in Kabwe District will be completed; 

 

(b) what the cause of the delay in completing the project is;

 

(c) who the contractor for the project is; 

 

(d) what the contract sum for the project is; and

 

(e) how much money had been paid to the contractor, as of May, 2023.

 

 

57. Mr.Chonde (Milenge) - to ask the Minister ofJustice:

 

(a) whether the Government has any plans to construct a subordinate court building in Milenge District; 

 

(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented; and

 

(c) if there are no such plans, why.
