283. Mr Kapyanga (Mpika) - to ask the Minister of Home Affairs and Internal Security:

 

(a) whether the Government is aware that there are foreign nationals with fire arms that are illegally mining gold in Mpika Parliamentary Constituency, thereby posing a security risk to the local people; and

 

(b) if so, what urgent measures are being taken to rid the area of the foreign nationals and ensure the safety and security of the residents.

 

 

 

 

284. Mr C Chibuye (Mkushi North) - to ask the Minister of Water Development and Sanitation:

 

(a) whether the Government has any plans to construct a modern water treatment plant in Mkushi Township in Mkushi North Parliamentary Constituency;

 

(b) if so, when the project will commence;

 

(c) what the estimated cost of the project is; 

 

(d) what the estimated time frame for the completion of the project is; and

 

(e) if there are no such plans, why.

 

 

285. Mr Malambo (Magoye) - to ask the Minister of Home Affairs and Internal Security:

 

(a) whether the Government has any plans to construct a police post in Magoye Parliamentary Constituency;

 

(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented; and

286. Mr Munir Zulu (Lumezi) - to ask the Minister of Water  Development and Sanitation:

 

(a) whether the Government has any plans to construct dams in the following Wards in Lumezi Parliamentary Constituency:

 

(i) Kamimba; 

(ii) Diwa; 

(iii) Chamtowa; and

(iv) Wachitangachi; and

 

(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented.

 

 

287. Mr J Daka (Chadiza) - to ask the Minister of Health:

 

(a) whether the Government has any plans to construct maternity wings at the following health centres in Chadiza Parliamentary Constituency:

 

(i) Zingalume;

(ii) Bwanunkha;

(iii) Kapilimphika; and

(iv) Chamandala; 

 

(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented;

 

(c) what the cost of the project is; and
