205. Mr Kapyanga (Mpika)  -  to ask the Minister of Water Development  and Sanitation:

 

(a) whether the Government is aware that there has been a critical shortage of water, for the past two weeks, in Chikwanda area in Mpika Parliamentary Constituency; and

 

(b) if so, what urgent measures are being taken to resolve the water crisis and prevent water borne diseases.

 

 

206. Mr Mukosa (Chinsali)  -  to ask the Minister of Health:

 

(a) whether the Government is aware of the outbreak of measles in the following areas in Chinsali Parliamentary Constituency:

 

(i) Choshi;

(ii) Chandamali; and

(iii) Mulyangolo; and

 

(b) if so, what urgent measures are being taken to contain the outbreak.

 

 

 

207. Mr Mtayachalo (Chama North)  -  to ask the Minister of  Agriculture:

 

(a) whether the Government has any plans to establish a cotton ginnery plant in Chama District;

 

(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented; and

 

(c) if there are no such plans, why.

 

 

208. Mr Kalimi (Malole)  -  to ask the Minister of Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development:

 

(a) when the construction of MulemaSampa Health Post in Malole Parliamentary Constituency will be completed;

 

(b) what the cause of delay in completing the project is; and

 

(c) what the time frame for the completion of the outstanding works is.

 

 

209. Mr C Mpundu (Chembe)  -  to ask the Minister of Water Development and Sanitation:

 

(a) whether the Government has any plans to construct a water reticulation plant in Chembe District; 

 

(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented; and

 

(c) if there are no such plans, why.
