Members of the Coalition of African Parliamentarians on Human – Animal Health and Environment (CAPAH) led by the Minister of Lands and Natural Resources, Honorable Elijah Muchima, MP and CAPAH Vice Chairperson toured Kasenseli Gold Mine in Mwinilunga District of North - Western Province on Thursday, 7th April, 2022. During the tour, Hon Muchima, MP urged Parliamentarians to acquaint themselves with the opportunities and challenges faced by the mines and ultimately help ZCCM IH (Zambia Consolidated Copper Mines Investment Holdings) quest and drive towards the promotion of strategic investments in the mining sector.
During the same tour, Provincial Minister, Hon Robert Lihefu, MP thanked CAPAH Vice Chairperson, Hon Elijah Muchima,MP for leading the delegation of Members of Parliament and the press on the tour of Kasenseli Gold Mine. He also thanked the Management of ZCCM IH for the hospitality extended to the entourage.
