310. Mr Musumali (Zambezi West) - to ask the Minister of Home Affairs and Internal Security:

 

(a) whether the Government is aware that some residents of Zambezi West Parliamentary Constituency have fled their homes following a spate of killings by unknown people suspected to be Karavinas; and

 

(b) if so, what measures the Government is taking to restore law and order and avert further loss of life in the area.

 

311. Mr Musumali (Zambezi West) - to ask the Minister of Transport and Logistics:

 

(a) whether the Government is aware that the only pontoon which operates between the East and the West Banks in Zambezi River is in imminent danger of breaking down as it is running on a single engine;

 

(b) if so, what measures are being taken to avert loss of connectivity between the two sides of the Zambezi District; and

 

(c) whether the Government has any plans to procure a new pontoon for the District.
