190. Mr Mwambazi (Bwana Mkubwa)  -  to ask the Minister of Local Government and Rural Development:
 
(a) whether the Government has any plans to rehabilitate the following feeder roads in Bwana Mkubwa Parliamentary Constituency:
 
(i) Kavu;
 
(ii) Chichele;
 
(iii) Mwange B;
 
(iv) Munkulungwe;
 
(v) Kamuchanga;
 
(vi) Mitalula;
 
(vii) Mushili; and
 
(viii) Kaloko; and
 
(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented.
 
191. Ms Nakaponda (Isoka)  -  to ask the Minister of Mines and Minerals Development:
 
(a) whether the Government is aware of the illegal mining of rare earth elements in Nkombwa area in Isoka District; 
 
(b) if so, whether there are any plans to legalise the mining activities in order to, among others, empower the local people;
 
(c) if so, when the plans will be implemented; and
 
(d) if there are no such plans, why.
 
192. Mr Wamunyima (Nalolo)  -  to ask the Minister of Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development:
 
(a) why the construction of the Nalolo District Hospital has stalled;
 
(b) when the project will resume;
 
(c) what the cost of the outstanding works is; and
 
(d) what the time frame for the completion of the project is.
 
193. Mr Mulunda (Siavonga)  -  to ask the Minister of Fisheries and Livestock:
 
(a) why the construction of the 11 dip tanks in Siavonga District has stalled;
 
(b) when the project will resume; and
 
(c) what has caused the delay in resuming the project.
 
194. Mr Mtayachalo (Chama North)  -  to ask the Minister of Local Government and Rural Development:
 
(a) what the future of the Local Authorities Superannuation Fund (LASF) is, considering that the organisation has not been recruiting new members; 
 
(b) how much money the LASF owed retirees, in pension benefits, as of December, 2021;
 
(c) when the retirees will be paid;
 
(d) whether the Government has any plans to increase the annuity for LASF members; and
 
(e) if so, when the plans will be implemented.
 
195. Mr Kangombe (Sesheke)  -  to ask the Minister of Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development:
 
(a) when reconstruction of the Sesheke - Kazungula road will commence;
 
(b) what the cause of the delay in commencing the project is;
 
(c) who the contractor for the project is;
 
(d) what the cost of the project is; and
 
(e) what the time frame for undertaking the project is.
 
196. Mr Fube (Chilubi)  -  to ask the Minister of Mines and Minerals Development:
 
(a) what the status of uranium mining, countrywide, is; and
 
(b) whether the uranium mine in Southern Province is operational.
 
197. Mr Nyambose (Chasefu)  -  to ask the Minister of Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development:
 
(a) whether the Government has any plans to tar the Chasefu - Chama road, connecting Muchinga and Eastern Provinces, which is in a deplorable state; 
 
(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented; and
 
(c) if there are no such plans, why.
 
198. Mr Menyani Zulu (Nyimba)  -  to ask the Minister of Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development:
 
(a) what the progress, in percentage terms, on the construction of Nyimba Civic Centre was, as of September, 2021;
 
(b) why the construction of the Centre has stalled;
 
(c) when the construction works will resume;
 
(d) what the cost of the outstanding works is; and
 
(e) what the time frame for the completion of the outstanding works is.
 
199. Mr Mulaliki (Senanga)  -  to ask the Minister of Health:
 
(a) whether the Government has any plans to procure a bus for the Senanga Nursing School to ease transport challenges; and
 
(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented.
 
200. Mr Kang’ombe (Kamfinsa)  -  to ask the Minister of Water Development and Sanitation:
 
(a) when the water supply project in Mulenga Compound in Kamfinsa Parliamentary Constituency will be completed; 
 
(b) whether the funds for the outstanding works on the project have been sourced; and 
 
(c) what the cost of the outstanding works is.
 
201. Mr Katakwe (Solwezi East)  -  to ask the Minister of Defence:
 
(a) whether the Government has any plans to deploy the Zambia National Service officers to patrol the border corridor between Kipushi in Solwezi District and Caledonia Mining in Chililabombwe District to control rampant smuggling and deforestation in the area;
 
(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented; and
 
(c) if there are no such plans, why.
 
202. Mr Mung’andu (Chama South)  -  to ask the Minister of Water Development and Sanitation:
 
(a) whether the Government has any plans to sink boreholes in the following Chiefdoms in Chama South Parliamentary Constituency:
 
(i) Chikwa;
 
(ii) Tembwe; and
 
(iii) Chifunda; 
 
(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented; and
 
(c) how many boreholes are earmarked for sinking in each chiefdom.
 
203. Mr Miyutu (Kalabo Central) - to ask the Minister of Labour and Social Security:
  
(a) whether the Government has any plans to reduce the retirement age;
 
(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented; and
 
(c) what the new retirement age will be.
 
204. Ms Chisenga (Mambilima)  -  to ask the Minister of Health:
 
(a) whether the Government has any plans to construct a mini hospital in Mambilima Parliamentary Constituency;
 
(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented;
 
(c) what the time frame for the completion of the project is; and
 
(d) if there are no such plans, why.
