QUESTIONS FOR ORAL ANSWER (STANDING ORDER 74)

61        Mr Chanda (Kanchibiya)    -    to ask the Minister of Small and Medium Enterprise Development:

(a)    what measures the Government is taking to support Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Kanchibiya Parliamentary Constituency to participate in the agricultural sector;

(b)    what measures the Government is taking to ensure that the SMEs are linked to international markets, especially in neighbouring countries; and

(c)    what measures are being taken to ensure that SMEs, especially those in rural areas, have access to technology to enable them develop into big industries.

62    Mr Kamondo (Mufumbwe)    -    to ask the Minister of Education:

(a)    whether the Government has any plans to construct a university in North-Western Province; and

(b)    if so, when the plans will be implemented.

63    Ms Halwiindi (Kabwe Central)    -    to ask the Minister of Small and Medium Enterprise Development:

(a)    whether the Government has any empowerment programmes for small and medium enterprises in Kabwe Central Parliamentary Constituency;

(b)    if so, what the plans are; and

(c)    when the plans will be implemented.
