NAZ TO RESUME SITTING ON TUESDAY, 30TH MARCH, 2021

The Clerk of the National Assembly wishes to inform Honourable Members of Parliament, the media and the public at large that the House Business Committee of Parliament has resolved that the Third Meeting of the Fifth Session of the Twelfth National Assembly which resumes sittings on Tuesday, 30th March, 2021, at 14:30 hours, will be held under very strict Covid-19 guidelines as was the case with the previous Meeting. In this regard, Members of Parliament are expected to join the proceedings remotely using the zoom platform from any suitable place with good internet connectivity other than the National Assembly Motel or Main Parliament Buildings. This means that Members will not be expected to travel to Lusaka for this Meeting.

Suspension of admittance of visitors to the National Assembly of Zambia Public Galleries also remains in force until further notice.

Members of the Public are, therefore, encouraged to follow the live proceedings of the National Assembly on the following platforms:

  1. Parliament Radio (Frequencies can be accessed on the Parliament website);

  2. Parliament Television on Top star channel 5;

  3. DSTV channel 272 and GOTV channel 100;

  4. The National Assembly of Zambia Facebook page, twitter; and

  5. Parliament Website streaming (www. Parliament.gov.zm).
