The Banking and Financial Services (Amendment) Bill, 2020

Parliamentary Period: 
Fifth Session of the Twelfth Assembly

The object of this Bill is to amend the Banking and Financial Services Act so

as to—

  1. (a)  provide for the repayment of funds collected by an unlicensed person;

  2. (b)  revise the jurisdiction of the tribunal;

  3. (c)  revise the priority of payment to depositors; and

  4. (d)  provide for matters connected with, or incidental to, the foregoing.
