242    Mr Mutale (Chitambo) - to ask the Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Development:

(a)    whether the Government has any plans to rehabilitate the Chalilo-Chipundu road which leads to the David Livingstone Memorial Site in Chitambo District;

(b)    if so, when the project will commence;

(c)    what the time-frame for the completion of the project is; and

(d)    if there are no such plans, why.

243    Mr Munkonge (Lukashya) - to ask the Minister of General Education:

(a)    how many community schools were in Lukashya Parliamentary Constituency as of February 2017;

(b)    whether there are any plans to convert some of the schools to Government schools;

(c)    if so, what the total number of schools earmarked for the exercise is;

(d)    when the exercise will commence; and

(e)    what the time-frame for completing the exercise is.

244    Mr S Tembo (Chadiza) - to ask the Minister of Energy:

(a)    whether the Government has any plans to resume the electrification of the Zemba Tobacco Scheme in Chadiza District which stalled in 2011;

(b)    if so, when the plans will be implemented;

(c)    what the cost of the project is; and

(d)    what the time-frame for the completion of the project is.

245    Mr P Phiri (Mkaika) - to ask the Minister of Health:

(a)    whether the Government has any plans to construct a district hospital in Katete;

(b)    if so, when the plans will be implemented;

(c)    what the estimated cost of the project is;

(d)    what the estimated time-frame for the completion of the project is; and

(e)    if there are no such plans, why.

246    Mr Ng’onga (Kaputa) - to ask the Minister of Finance:

(a)    whether the Government has any plans to construct offices for the Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) in the following districts:

(i)    Kaputa;
(ii)    Nsama; and
(iii)    Chiengi;

(b)    if so, when the plans will be implemented;

(c)    if there are no such plans, why; and

(d)    whether the Government has any plans to delegate some of the ZRA functions, in the interim, to the District Councils at (a).

247    Mr Zimba (Chasefu)     - to ask the Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Development:

(a)    why construction works at the Chasefu Boarding Secondary School in Chasefu Parliamentary Constituency have stalled;

(b)    when construction works will resume;

(c)    who the contractor for the project is; and

(d)    what the estimated time-frame for the completion of the project is.

248    Mr C Zulu (Luangeni) - to ask the Minister of Home Affairs:

(a)    whether there have been any people arrested for masquerading as religious leaders from 2011 to-date;

(b)    if so, how many have been prosecuted and convicted; and

(c)    what measures have been taken to reduce the number of people masquerading as pastors.

249    Mr Mwila (Chimwemwe) - to ask the Minister of General Education:

(a)    whether the Government has any plans to upgrade the following schools in Chimwemwe Parliamentary Constituency to secondary schools:

(i)    Twatasha;
(ii)    Ishuko;
(iii)    Mama Monty; and
(iv)    Garneton;

(b)    if so, when the Schools will be upgraded;

(c)    what the time-frame for completing the process is; and

(d)    if there are no such plans, why.

250    Mr Mandumbwa (Mulobezi) - to ask the Minister of Justice:

(a)    whether the Government has any plans to construct Local Court buildings at the following places in Mulobezi District:

(i)    Bwina; and
(ii)    Sichili;

(b)    if so, when the works will commence; and

(c)    if there are no such plans, why.

251    Mr S Miti (Feira) - to ask the Minister of Youth, Sport and Child Development:
        
(a)    whether the Government has any plans to construct a skills training centre in Luangwa District;

(b)    if so, when the plans will be implemented; and

(c)    if there are no such plans, why.

Report of the Committee on Legal Affairs, Governance, Human Rights, Gender Matters and Child Affairs:  That this House do adopt the Report of the Committee on Legal Affairs, Governance, Human Rights, Gender Matters and Child Affairs on the Address by His Excellency, Mr Edgar Chagwa Lungu, President of the Republic of Zambia, on the progress made in the Application of National Values and Principles, for the First Session of the Twelfth National Assembly, laid on the Table of the House on 12th June, 2017.
