Report Summary
The objects of this Bill are to amend the Legal Practitioners Act so as to –
(a) revise the professional and academic qualifications necessary for a person to be admitted as legal practitioner;
(b) confer the rank and dignity of a State Counsel upon the Director of Public Prosecutions; and
(c) provide for matters connected with or incidental to the foregoing.
