35    Mr Mukanga (Kantanshi) - to ask the Minister of Local Government and Housing how many houses were built by the Government under the following programmes from 2006 to 2009:

(a)    National Housing Development Programme;

(b)    National Housing Bonds Programme; and

(c)    Low Cost Housing Development.

36    Mr Hamusonde (Nangoma) - to ask the Minister of Education when the Kasulu High School in Nangoma Parliamentary Constituency, which is under construction, will be completed and opened.

37    Mr Mwango (Kanchibiya) - to ask the Minister of Works and Supply:

(a)    when the construction of the Government Complex building in Lusaka will be completed;

(b)    how much money the Government has spent on the project; and

(c)    what has caused the delay in completing the project.

38    Mr D Mwila (Chipili) - to ask the Minister of Local Government and  Housing:

(a)    when the construction of Mwenda and Musonda Falls markets in Chipili Parliamentary Constituency will be completed;

(b)    what the delay in completing the project was; and

(c)    how much money will be required to complete the construction of the markets.

39    Colonel Chanda (Kanyama)     - to ask the Minister of Agriculture and Co-operatives:

(a)    when the Munkolo Multi-Purpose Co-operative Society was first registered; and

(b)    whether the Society makes any annual returns in accordance with the law and, if not, why.

40    Mr Muyanda (Sinazongwe) - to ask the Minister of Mines and Minerals Development whether there are any plans to build a local training school to provide mining and safety skills to coal miners in Sinazongwe.

41    Mr D Mwila (Chipili) - to ask the Minister of Labour and Social Services:

(a)    what measures the Government has taken to curb the practice of outsourcing labour by mining companies; and

(b)    how many Zambian workers have lost employment due to the above arrangement.

42    Mr D Mwila (Chipili) - to ask the Minister of Works and Supply:

(a)    when the Government will rehabilitate the following roads in Luapula Province:

(i)    Mwenda-Kashiba;
(ii)    Mukabi-Kawambwa; and
(iii)    Mansa-Kashikishi;

(b)    what has caused the delay in starting the works on the roads; and
(c)    how much money will be spent on the rehabilitation works.

43    Colonel Chanda (Kanyama)     - to ask the Minister of Local Government and Housing:

(a)    why the highrise building structure at the junction of Katondo Street and Freedom Way has remained incomplete for a long time; and

(b)    why the owners of the building structure have not been compelled to complete it.

44    Mr P P Chanda (Kankoyo) -     to ask the Minister of Health:

(a)    how many patients have been treated at the University Teaching Hospital Cancer Centre since its inception;

(b)    how many cancer patients were referred for treatment outside the country in the period above; and

(c)    how much do cancer patients pay towards treatment at the Cancer Centre.

The Agricultural Credits - Bill to establish the Warehouse Licensing Authority and provide for its functions and powers; facilitate the borrowing of money on the security of charges created on farming stock and other agricultural assets; provide for the registration of charges; provide for the certification of warehouses; provide for the issuance and negotiation of warehouse receipts and the rights conferred by warehouse receipts; provide for the  rights and obligations of warehouse operators; repeal and replace the Agricultural Credits Act, 1995; and provide for matters connected with, or incidental to, the foregoing.

The Occupational Health and Safety - Bill to establish the Occupational Health and Safety Institute and provide for its functions; provide for the establishment of health and safety committees at workplaces and for the health, safety and welfare of persons at work; provide for the duties of manufacturers, importers and suppliers of articles, devices, items and substances for use at work; provide for the protection of persons, other than persons at work, against risks to health or safety arising from, or in connection with, the activities of persons at work; and provide for matters connected with, or incidental to, the foregoing.             (N.A.B. 35/2010)

The Veterinary and Para-veterinary Professionals - Bill to establish the Veterinary Association of Zambia; continue the existence of the Veterinary Board of Zambia and re-name it as the Veterinary Council of Zambia; provide for the registration of veterinary and para-veterinary professionals and regulate their professional conduct; provide for the licensing of laboratories and animal health facilities; provide for the recognition and approval of training programmes for veterinary and para-veterinary professionals; repeal and replace the Veterinary Surgeons Act, 1964; and provide for matters connected with, or incidental to, the foregoing.
