Participants from the National Assembly of Zambia gathered at the Lusaka Showgrounds for the 2026 Inter-Company Relay (ICR), joining corporate teams and partners in a celebration of teamwork, wellness, and athletic excellence.

Held under the theme, “Celebrating 26 Years of Corporate Partnerships, Athletic Excellence, and National Health – Together, We Can Win.” 

The event brought together employees from various organisations to promote physical fitness, strengthen professional relationships, and encourage healthy lifestyles.

Dressed in coordinated team apparel, members of the National Assembly proudly displayed their banner ahead of the relay competitions, demonstrating unity, discipline, and commitment to the spirit of the event. The occasion highlighted the importance of collaboration both in the workplace and in society, while reinforcing the role of sport in fostering national health and social cohesion.

The Inter-Company Relay continues to serve as a platform for organizations to build stronger partnerships, inspire employee wellness, and celebrate the values of teamwork, resilience, and collective achievement. As participants competed and interacted throughout the day, the event reaffirmed that success is best achieved when communities and institutions work together toward a common goal.
