5. QUESTION FOR ORAL ANSWER (STANDING ORDER 82)
249. Mr C Kang’ombe (Kamfinsa) - to ask the Minister of Education:
(a) whether the Government is aware that teachers who were recruited under the 2025 replacement category are experiencing financial hardship due to the prolonged delay in being placed on the Government payroll;
(b) what the cause of the delay in placing the teachers on the payroll, is; and
(c) when the teachers will be placed on the payroll.
6. QUESTIONS FOR ORAL ANSWER (STANDING ORDER 80)
250. Mr Mukosa (Chinsali) - to ask the Minister of Health:
(a) how many malaria-related deaths were recorded in Chinsali District, from 2021 to September, 2025, year by year; and
(b) what measures the Government is taking to prevent and control malaria in the District.
251. Mr Fube (Chilubi) - to ask the Minister of Education:
(a) how many beneficiaries there were on the Keeping Girls in School Programme as of August, 2025, countrywide;
(b) which province had the highest number of beneficiaries; and
(c) whether the Government has any plans to increase the number of beneficiaries under the Programme.
7. GROUPED QUESTIONS FOR ORAL ANSWER (STANDING ORDER 83)
252. Mr Chonde (Milenge) - to ask the Minister of Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development:
(a) whether the Government has any plans to construct a road to connect Milenge and Chembe Districts;
(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented; and
(c) if there are no such plans, why.
253. Mr Fube (Chilubi) - to ask the Minister of Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development:
(a) whether the Government has any plans to construct roads to connect Samfya, Chifunabuli and Chilubi Districts;
(b) if so, when the project will commence;
(c) what the estimated cost of the project is; and
(d) if there are no such plans, why.
254. Mr Mukosa (Chinsali) - to ask the Minister of Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development:
(a) what the time frame for the construction of the following roads in Chinsali District, is:
(i) Lubwa - Nashinga road;
(ii) Nkweto - Mwalule road; and
(b) at what percentage of completion, the projects were, as of August, 2025.
