The Minister of Water Development and Sanitation  -  On the measures that the Government is taking to resolve the water crisis in Ndeke Village and surrounding areas in Kamfinsa Parliamentary Constituency.

120. Mr Lungu (Kapoche)  -  to ask the Minister of Local Government and Rural Development:
 
(a) whether the Government is aware that the following crossing points in Kapoche Parliamentary Constituency have been washed away:
 
(i) Lemmy in Luandazi Ward;
(ii) Ching’ombe in Ching’ombe Ward; and 
(iii) Miyezi in Nchembwe Ward; and
 
(b) if so, what urgent measures the Government is taking to avert loss of lives and ensure there is access to essential facilities, such as clinics and schools.

(a) when the following wards in Chimbamilonga Parliamentary Constituency will be electrified under Phase 2 of the Rural Electrification Project:

(iii) Kampinda;
(iv) Mululu;
(v) Kakusu;
(vi) Kashikishi;
(vii) Lunsangwe;
(viii) Chishi;
(ix) Fungwa;
(x) Kakoma; and
(xi) Mwambeshi;
 
(b) why the project has delayed; and
 
(c) what measures are being taken to expedite the process.
