National Assembly Mourns with Hon. Malungo Chisangano
The National Assembly of Zambia regrets to announce the passing of Mr. Edward Chabilakale Chisangano, father to the First Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, Hon. Malungo A. Chisangano, MP.
Mr. Chisangano passed away on Wednesday, 20th August, 2025, after an illness. His passing is a profound loss not only to his family, but also to the extended parliamentary family.
In her message of condolence, the Speaker of the National Assembly expressed deep sorrow and conveyed heartfelt sympathy to the First Deputy Speaker and her family.
“During this painful time of grief, my thoughts and prayers are with Hon. Chisangano and her entire family. May they find strength and comfort in God’s grace, and peace in the cherished memories of her late father,” the Speaker said.
On behalf of all Members of Parliament, the staff of the National Assembly, and on her own behalf, the Speaker extended deepest condolences to Hon. Chisangano and the bereaved family.
May His Soul Rest in Eternal Peace.
