SECOND DEPUTY SPEAKER FLAGS OFF TOUR OF CONSTITUENCY OFFICES IN NORTHERN PROVINCE
The Second Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, Honourable Moses Frank Moyo, MP, has officially commenced the tour of Constituency Offices in Northern Province, scheduled to run from 15th to 24th August, 2025.
Honourable Moyo launched the tour on Saturday, 16th August, 2025, with a courtesy call on Paramount Chief Chitimukulu, Mwine Lubemba of the Bemba-speaking people, at his Palace in Mungwi District.
During the meeting, Hon. Moyo informed the Paramount Chief that the purpose of the tour was to gain first-hand insight into the operations of Constituency Offices and the challenges they face. He further highlighted the National Assembly’s initiative to plant trees in all the 156 constituencies across the country as part of its contribution to the fight against climate change.
The Second Deputy Speaker is accompanied on the tour by Mrs. Cecilia Sikatele Mambwe, Deputy Clerk (Corporate Affairs), and members of staff from the National Assembly of Zambia.
