The Kazungula Bridge Authority - Bill to give effect to the Agreement relating to the establishment of the Kazungula Bridge Authority made between the Government of the Republic of Zambia and the Government of the Republic of Botswana; and provide for matters connected with, or incidental to, the foregoing. 397. Mr Fube (Chilubi) - to ask the Minister of Green Economy and Environment:

 

(a) whether the Government has any plans to develop a rural based ecological policy for mitigating climate change;

 

(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented; and

 

(c) whether such a policy will be supported by a legislative framework.

 

398. Mr Munsanje (Mbabala) - to ask the Minister of Health when the following health posts in Mbabala Parliamentary Constituency will be operationalised:

 

(a) Kachenje in Nchembe Ward; 

 

(b) Nabukowa in Nchembe Ward;

 

(c) Katumbi in Mutanga Ward;

 

(d) Hakaloba in Simaubi Ward;

 

(e) Mwanachewu in Mang’unza Ward;

 

(f) Halumba in Ng’onga Ward;

 

(g) Kaseko in Macha Ward;

 

(h) Namiyanda in Kabimba Ward; 

 

(i) Maubwe in Mbabala Ward; and

 

(j) Mayobo in Kabanze-Mayobo Ward.

 

399. Mr J Daka (Chadiza) - to ask the Minister of Home Affairs and Internal Security what measures the Government is implementing to enhance service delivery in the Police Service, countrywide.

 

400. Mr Mutale (Chitambo) - to ask the Minister of Education:

 

(a) whether there are any secondary schools in Chitambo District that are earmarked for provision of internet connectivity;

 

(b) if so, how many schools are earmarked for the exercise; 

 

(c) what the names of the schools are; and

 

(d) when the project will commence.

(a) whether the Government has any plans to clear canals leading to the following Wards in Chilubi Parliamentary Constituency:

 

(i) Katamba; (vi) Mubemba;

 

(ii) Chishiba; (vii) Chinkundu;

 

(iii) Bumba; (viii) Chiloba; and

 

(iv) Lwangwa; (ix) Mofu;

 

(v) Kanama;

 

(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented;

 

(c) what the cost of the project is; and

 

(d) if there are no such plans, why.

 

 

 

Adopt Report of the Zambian Delegation to the 55th Southern African Development Community Parliamentary Forum Plenary Assembly: That this House adopts the Report of the Zambian Delegation to the 55th Southern African Development Community Parliamentary Forum (SADC-PF) Plenary Assembly held in Luanda, Angola, from 1st to 7th July, 2024, for the Third Session of the Thirteenth National Assembly, laid on the Table of the House on Wednesday, 24th July, 2024.

 

 

Adopt Report of the Parliamentary Reforms and Modernisation Committee: That this House adopts the Report of the Parliamentary Reforms and Modernisation Committee on the Capitalisation of Artificial Intelligence to Enhance Efficiency in the Zambian Parliament, for the Third Session of the Thirteenth National Assembly, laid on the Table of the House on Tuesday, 23rd July, 2024.
