Speaker of the National Assembly of Zambia, The Rt. Hon. Nelly B K Mutti, MP has called on Parliaments in LDCs to take centre stage on matters of aid and cooperation in their entrenched representative, Legislative and oversight responsibilities. She said this in Qatar during a panel discussion on LDCs and aid “Towards more effective Development Cooperation”.

Meanwhile, Speaker Mutti met her counterpart from Qatar, Mr Hassan Bin Addulla Al - Ghanim on the sidelines of the LDCs Conference being held in Doha, Qatar.  The two speakers have agreed to enhance bilateral relations between the two countries through the formation of the Zambia-Qatar Parliamentary Friendship Group, which will Foster further cooperation between the two countries.
