146. Mr Kapyanga (Mpika) - to ask the Minister of Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development:
 
(a) why the construction of the Mpika - Nabwalya road in Mpika District has stalled;
 
(b) when the project will resume;
 
(c) whether the contractor has been paid;
 
(d) if not, how much money is owed to the contractor; and 
 
(e) when the contractor will be paid. 
 
147. Mr Mutinta (Itezhi-Tezhi) - to ask the Minister of Health:
 
(a) whether the Government has any plans to construct a new hospital in Itezhi-Tezhi District;
 
(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented; and
 
(c) if there are no such plans, why.
 
148. Mr Chonde (Milenge) - to ask the Minister of Education:
 
(a) whether the Government has any plans to construct science laboratories at all secondary schools in Milenge District; and
 
(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented.
 
149. Mr Mulaliki (Senanga) - to ask the Minister of Local Government and Rural Development:
 
(a) when tarring of township roads in Senanga District will commence;
 
(b) what has caused the delay in commencing the project, considering that the contractor has been on site since 2015;
 
(c) whether the Government has any plans to increase the distance to be covered under the project; and
 
(d) if so, what the total distance to be covered will be.
 
150. Mr Mutale (Chitambo) - to ask the Minister of Community Development and Social Services:
 
(a) whether the Government has any plans to introduce literacy programmes for women in Chitambo District;
 
(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented; and
 
(c) if there are no such plans, why.
 
151. Mr Mandandi (Sioma) - to ask the Minister of Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development:
 
(a) why the tarring of the Sioma - Shangombo road in Sioma District has stalled;
 
(b) when the project will resume;
 
(c) what the cost of the project is; and
 
(d) what the time frame for the completion of the project is.
 
152. Ms Mabonga (Mfuwe) - to ask the Minister of Health:
 
(a) when the following mini-hospitals in Mfuwe Parliamentary Constituency will be commissioned:
 
(i) Mpumba; and
 
(ii) Chiundaponde;
 
(b) whether the Government has any plans to construct mortuaries at the mini-hospitals above; and 
 
(c) if so, when the plans will be implemented.
 
153. Mr Mulunda (Siavonga) - to ask the Minister of Water Development and Sanitation:
 
(a) whether the Government has any plans to construct dams in Siavonga District;
 
(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented; and 
 
(c) how many dams are earmarked for construction in the District.
 
154. Mr Mumba (Kantanshi) - to ask the Minister of Mines and Minerals Development:
 
(a) whether the Government is aware that the suspension of operations at Kasenseli Gold Mine in Mwinilunga District will result in the Bank of Zambia (BoZ) not meeting its annual gold purchase target;
 
(b) if so, what measures are being taken to ensure that BoZ meets its target so that the economy is not adversely affected; and 
 
(c) when the operations at the Mine will resume.
 
155. Mr Mutelo (Mitete) - to ask the Minister of Local Government and Rural Development:
 
(a) when the construction of the fire station in Kabwata Parliamentary Constituency will be completed;
 
(b) what the cause of the delay in completing the project is; and
 
(c) what the cost of the outstanding works is.
 
156. Mr E Tembo (Feira) - to ask the Minister of Agriculture:
 
(a) whether the Government has any plans to revive the operations at Kaunga Farmers’ Training Centre to promote agriculture activities in Feira Parliamentary Constituency; and
 
(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented.
 
157. Mr Samakayi (Mwinilunga) - to ask the Minister of Finance and National Planning:
 
(a) whether the Government has any plans to introduce a consumer price index in order to curb over pricing of goods and services in public procurement; 
 
(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented; and
 
(c) what other measures the Government is taking to reduce corruption in public procurement.
 
158. Mr Chanda (Kanchibiya) - to ask the Minister of Fisheries and Livestock:
 
(a) whether the Goat Breeding Centre in Kanchibiya District is serving its intended purpose;
 
(b) if so, how many people had benefitted from the Centre, as of October, 2021; and
 
(c) if the Centre is not serving its purpose, what measures are being taken to ensure that the Centre serves its intended purpose.
 
159. Mr Chinkuli (Kanyama) - to ask the Minister of Local Government and Rural Development:
 
(a) why the construction of the drainage system in Kanyama Parliamentary Constituency has stalled;
 
(b) when the project will resume; and
 
(c) whether the Government has any plans to expedite the works to avert flooding in the rainy seasons.
 
160. Ms Katuta (Chienge) - to ask the Minister of Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development:
 
(a) when the construction of the Kalungwishi Boarding Secondary School in Chienge District will be completed; 
 
(b) what the cause of the delay in completing the project is;
 
(c) whether the contractor has been paid; and
 
(d) if not, when the contractor will be paid.
 
161. Mr Miyutu (Kalabo Central) - to ask the Minister of Mines and Minerals Development:
 
(a) when the first geological map of Zambia was produced;
 
(b) when the map was last updated; 
 
(c) how often the map is updated; and
 
(d) whether the map is easily accessible to the public.
 
162. Mr Mung’andu (Chama South) - to ask the Minister of Agriculture:
 
(a) whether there are any plans to increase the number of beneficiaries under the Farmer Input Support Programme in Chama South Parliamentary Constituency; 
 
(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented; and 
 
(c) if there are no such plans, why.
 
163. Mr Mulaliki (Senanga) - to ask the Minister of Health:
 
(a) when the Government will procure an ambulance for Senanga General Hospital;
 
(b) what the cause of the delay in procuring the ambulance is;
 
(c) whether there are any plans to rehabilitate the infrastructure at the Hospital; and
 
(d) if so, when the plans will be implemented.
 
164. Mr Musonda (Lupososhi) - to ask the Minister of Agriculture how many agricultural officers are earmarked for recruitment, countrywide, from 2022 to 2026, year by year.
 
165. Mr Anakoka (Luena) - to ask the Minister of Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development:
 
(a) why the construction of the Limulunga District Administration offices and auxiliary structures has stalled;
 
(b) when the project will resume;
 
(c) what the cost of the project is; and
 
(d) what the time frame for the completion of the project is.

W7. Mr Mutinta (Itezhi-Tezhi) - to ask the Minister of Education:
 
(a) how much money was owed to the University of Zambia employees and retirees in terms of the following, from January, 2011 to September, 2021:
 
(i) gratuities; 
 
(ii) pension benefits; and
 
(iii) long service bonuses;
 
(b) how many beneficiaries are owed the money at (a);
 
(c) what measures are being taken to liquidate the debt; and
 
(d) when the debt will be liquidated.
