QUESTIONS FOR ORAL ANSWER (STANDING ORDER 74)
42. Ms Sabao (Chikankata) - to ask the Minister of Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development:
(a) why the tarring of the Chikankata Mission Road in Chikankata District stalled;
(b) when the project will resume; and
(c) what the time frame for the completion of the project is.
43. Ms Lungu (Chawama) - to ask the Minister of Education:
(a) whether there is any money at the Lusaka District Education Board Secretary’s office meant for the construction of Chawama Secondary School in Chawama Parliamentary Constituency;
(b) if so, when the money will be applied to the intended purpose; and
(c) what the cause of delay in releasing the money is.
44. Mr Kamondo (Mufumbwe) - to ask the Minister of Fisheries and Livestock:
(a) whether the Government has any plans to empower women and youths in Mufumbwe District who are involved in the following agricultural activities:
(i) fish farming; and
(ii) livestock farming; and
(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented.
45. Mr Chanda (Kanchibiya) - to ask the Minister of Commerce, Trade and Industry when a reduction in prices of goods is expected to take effect following the appreciation of the Zambian Kwacha against other convertible currencies.
46. Mr Kamondo (Mufumbwe) - to ask the Minister of Home Affairs and Internal Security:
(a) whether the Government has any plans to construct the following in Mufumbwe District:
(i) a modern police station; and
(ii) staff houses for police officers; and
(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented.
47. Mr Fube (Chilubi) - to ask the Minister of Local Government and Rural Development:
(a) why the rehabilitation of the Njoko-Mwape-Kalunga-Fube road in Chilubi District has stalled;
(b) when the project will resume;
(c) whether the rehabilitation works include the embankments on the road; and
(d) if not, why.
