Death of Mr Maxas Joel Bweupe Ng’onga, MP: That this House do place on record its deepest regret at the death of Mr Maxas Joel Bweupe Ng’onga, Member of Parliament for Kaputa Parliamentary Constituency, together with its appreciation for his distinguished and patriotic service to the country and the people of Zambia, and that the deepest sympathies and condolences of the National Assembly be conveyed to his family.

 

 

Annul Speaker’s Ruling:  That, in terms of Standing Order 62 of the National Assembly of Zambia Standing Orders, 2016, this House annuls the Speaker’s Ruling made on Friday, 13th November, 2020, to the effect that the Patriotic Front Party (PF) should be allowed to conclude its internal disciplinary proceedings against Mr K Kabaso, Member of Parliament for Mwansabombwe, Mr E Musonda, Member of Parliament for Kamfinsa and Dr F Ngambi, Member of Parliament for Chifubu, by enquiring from the aforesaid Members, why they did not participate in the voting on the Constitution of Zambia (Amendment) Bill No. 10 of 2019, and further, for holding that if their privileges are infringed upon, following the enquiry in question, the Speaker would be amenable to deal with the grievances of the affected Members.
