QUESTIONS FOR ORAL ANSWER

32    Mr Mutale (Chitambo) - to ask the Minister of Health:

(a)    when medical equipment for Reuben and Katikulula Health Posts in Chitambo Parliamentary Constituency will be procured;

(b)    when staff will be deployed to each Health Post; and

(c)    when the two Health Posts will be opened to the public.

33    Mr Mutaba (Mwandi) - to ask the Minister of Home Affairs:
        
(a)    when the Mwandi Police Post in Mwandi Parliamentary Constituency will be upgraded to a police station;

(b)    when the Police Post will be provided with a motor vehicle to enhance its operations;

(c)    whether the Government has any plans to establish police posts in the following areas in the Constituency:

(i)    Magumwe; and
(ii)    Lipumpu; and

(d)    if so, when the plans will be implemented.

34    Dr Chanda (Bwana Mkubwa) - to ask the Minister of Youth, Sport and Child Development:

(a)    what youth empowerment programmes are earmarked for implementation in Bwana Mkubwa Parliamentary Constituency in 2017; and

(b)    when implementation of the programmes will commence.

35    Mr Bulaya (Mpongwe) - to ask the Minister of Local Government:

(a)    whether there has been any research undertaken to assess the effectiveness of the orientation programme for newly elected Councillors;

(b)    if so, what the findings are; and

(c)    whether the Government is satisfied with the performance of the Councillors following the orientation programme.

36    Ms E Phiri (Kanyama) - to ask the Minister of Home Affairs:

(a)    whether the Government has any plans to construct a modern police station and staff houses at the Kanyama Police Station since a piece of land is readily available;

(b)    if so, when the plans will be implemented; and

(c)    if there are no such plans, why.
