QUESTIONS FOR ORAL ANSWER

6    Mr Miyanda (Mapatizya) - to ask the Minister of Agriculture:
        
(a)    how many metric tonnes of maize the Food Reserve Agency (FRA) exported from May to September, 2016;

(b)    to which countries the maize was exported;

(c)    how much money the FRA raised from the maize export; and

(d)    whether the countries at (b) have paid for the maize.

7    Mr Mukosa (Chinsali) - to ask the Minister of Local Government:
        
(a)    whether the Government is aware that the contractor engaged to tar township roads in Chinsali District has abandoned the project;

(b)    if so, what measures the Government has taken to ensure that the project is completed; and

(c)    what the time-fame for the completion of the project is.

8    Mr Mutale (Chitambo) - to ask the Minister of General Education:

(a)    whether the Government has any plans to construct additional teachers’ houses at Mukando High School in Chitambo District;

(b)    if so, when the plans will be implemented; and

(c)    when the School will be provided with piped water.

9    Ms O Phiri (Nyimba) - to ask the Minister of Local Government:

(a)    whether the Government is aware that the construction of the Civic Centre in Nyimba District has stalled and, if so, what the reasons are;

(b)    when the construction works will resume;

(c)    what the time-frame for the completion of the project is; and

(d)    what the total cost of the project is.
